ANNUAL PARTY LIVES UP TO ITS HYPE AS THE LARGEST EVENT ENJOYED BY OUR BENEFICIARIES AND FAMILIES!

The first annual signature event of Club Rainbow (Singapore) saw more than 600 beneficiaries and family members who turned up to participate in a variety of family-friendly leisure activities at ORTO.  Themed “Active Family Fest”, the event achieved its objectives in family bonding and interaction through fun, and advocating for families to lead an active lifestyle in 2017.  Our Rainbow families thoroughly enjoyed the activities such as prawning, longkang fishing, trampoline, paintball target shooting and various game booths set up by student volunteers.  The audience also witnessed the presentation of Education Awards to 47 beneficiaries in recognition of their academic progress and achievements, and Long Service Awards to staff of Club Rainbow (Singapore). 

The event was strongly supported by over 250 volunteers from Hwa Chong Institute The Artemis Faculty, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.  In collaboration with Hwa Chong Institute for the second consecutive year, the student leaders and teachers were involved in the initial planning since October 2016 and organisation of several game booths within the park to better engage our beneficiaries and families.
