Club Rainbow Singapore is a charity registered as an independent non-profit organisation in 1992. We support and empower children with chronic illnesses & their families by providing compassionate relevant services in their journey towards an enriching life.

 

Q: Who can join Club Rainbow?

Singapore citizens and permanent residents from 0 to 20 years old with chronic illness.

 

Q: How many beneficiaries does Club Rainbow have?

We are currently helping more than 1,000 children and their families.

 

Q: How much funds does Club Rainbow need annually?

We need to raise over S$5 million annually. As an independent charity, Club Rainbow relies largely on corporate and public donations as well as government grants and funding to support our mission and sustain our work and daily operations.

 

Q: Who manages Club Rainbow?

Club Rainbow is headed by a Management Council of volunteers who are professionals in diverse fields including medicine, law, financial management and education; together with our Executive Director.

 

Q: Does Club Rainbow work with any hospitals?

We work closely with the National University Hospital, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the neonatal ward of the Singapore General Hospital. All the children are referred to us by doctors.

 

Q: What services does Club Rainbow provide?

We provide emotional, informational, educational, social and financial support to our beneficiaries – the children and their families.

 

Q: Are there any charges?

All our core services are free.

 

Q: Is there tax exemption for my donation?

Club Rainbow has Institution of Public Character (IPC) status. All monetary donations qualify for tax exemption benefits.

Q: CAN WE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO VISIT THE CHILDREN AND YOUTH AT Club Rainbow?

Club Rainbow is not a home for children and youth. Our beneficiaries live together with their parents or caregivers. You may wish to sign up as a volunteer, and get the opportunity to befriend and help our Rainbow children and youth during Club Rainbow programmes and events.
