More than 150 participants from Informa completed a 4.15km walk for Club Rainbow (Singapore) ‘Ride & Ralk for Rainbows’
At Club Rainbow (Singapore), we believe in the power of community and the strength of collaboration. Our recent partnership with Informa Markets Asia for our fundraising campaign, 'Ride & Ralk for Rainbows 2024' on 6 September was a wonderful testament to these values. As part of Informa’s annual event, Walk the World, more than 150 participants from Informa's Singapore office joined us for an invigorating 4.15 km walk from National Stadium to Marina Barrage, showcasing their commitment to supporting children with chronic illnesses and their families.
The event began near National Stadium, where the participants gathered. Informa’s Managing Director, Maritime & Energy Singapore, Mr. Sukumar Verma, alongside our Executive Director, Mr. Teo Siang Loong, delivered inspiring opening speeches and flagged off the event.
It is heartwarming to see the excellent spirit and determination of individuals from diverse backgrounds coming together walking with purpose, knowing that funds raised would significantly impact lives, providing essential food rations, therapy services and education support for children and families navigating the challenges of chronic illness. Informa's team was fully engaged, not just as participants but as advocates for our mission. In total, Informa has raised $13,892 for ‘Ride & Ralk for Rainbows’ and from the purchase of our merchandise in support for our children! We are filled with gratitude for Informa's support.
We look forward to continuing this partnership, finding new ways to collaborate, and creating opportunities that bring hope and joy to our children and their families.
